We are delighted that the 27th round of Africa Small Grants has just been approved.
This round saw grants awarded to ten organisations from seven African countries for work to improve palliative care delivery in their local communities.
Funds were awarded towards a range of projects including towards the purchase of a vehicle for the delivery of home-based care; towards medical equipment and beds for patients receiving palliative care; towards training for palliative care providers and towards medicines.
We remain very grateful to the African Palliative Care Association which administers the Africa Small Grants programme on our behalf.
