Najojo Better Living Mission Association delivers palliative care, advocacy and health education in Lesotho. It is currently delivering patients across around 15 villages through a combination of home-based care, transport to medical appointments, the provision of food, psychosocial support and training for caregivers to help them care for their family members.

Najojo was one of the winning organisations of the Africa Small Grants Programme film competition run by the African Palliative Care Association in 2019 to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the Small Grants. Their winning film can be seen here.

True Colours has made a number of small grants to Najojo to support its running costs, starting with funding to allow the organisation to install an internet connection at its premises. When the pandemic broke out, True Colours also supported Najojo’s Covid-19 response with a grant towards awareness raising, PPE and food parcels for isolated patients.

We remain impressed by the work that Najojo delivers and have continued to support its core costs.
